AVES: AI Video Evaluation of Surgical Skills
We are developing software that looks at a student performing surgical training via cameras and guides them step by step through the process. Our software tells the student where they failed and gives a final pass/fail determination. In the video below Andrew Hu, a second year surgical resident at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, is learning a basic laparoscopic surgical task.
